Is Farcry 2 worth renting and why?

I played it, and pesonally it included too much running around, and when you used your weapons for too long they would jam and break, and healing is stupin. (if i take a bullet out of my arm with pliers then im pretty sure i wouldn't regain helth, i would die from blood loss) and i never finished it cause it was so time consuming getting from place to place, fast travel doesn't help much since you need to go to places miles away from a fast travel place, god forbid you can succesfully find one. so sure why not try it out.

I suppose it's worth a rent. I respect what it tries with the open world FPS thing, and the "buddies" you get make for a pretty neat mechanic, but personally I really just didn't enjoy the game. Also it kind of takes forever to get anywhere, there are checkpoints along the roads where enemies respawn every time you leave, so you have to fight every time you pass one, and even though it's an open world game you have to reload your save if you die, so you not only have to repeat the mission, but repeat the driving and checkpoint battles you passed to get to the mission in the first place.
