The original dead island was an awsome game but do they really need a second one? i didnt finish the first one, so if they left on a cliff hangar, then i would understand. So, did they?

The new title is a "Game of the Year" edition. These editions usually include some or all of the downloadable content that the game has included since original release. Dead Island GOTY edition includes the following DLC on the disc: Ryder White, Bloodbath Arena, & The Ripper.
Game of the year editions are a way that publishers breathe new life into a title that was received well and has been available for a while.
