4. Mario - I hate his guts, but its unarguable how iconic he is.

3. "The Nameless Hero" (Elder Scrolls, Fallout, etc.) - The best kind of character is YOUR kind of character.

2. The Big Boss - Although he is considered to be the bad guy for 4 games in a row, he is indeed a much more complex chracter than that; I for one believe that he is more involving than Solid Snake (and Badass for that matter), and hope he gets more camera time in the future.

1. Gordon Freeman - Silent, Badass, and he has a degree in theoretical physics. What more could one ask for?

1. Super Saiyan 2 Goku- He has the best attacks iin all of the DBZ franchise, and never have I lost a fight as him.
2. Gaz- Comical, skilled and creative, I pity anyone who looks him in the eyes... except for Zakhaev. (WHYYY!??)
3. Shy Guy- Hiding behind a swag mask like that, there must be something amazing to hide. Don't take it the wrong way.
4. Bart "Bartman" Simpson- A reincarnated version of the great prankster, Bart is now a caped prankster.
5. Razor Callahan- A heavilly tatooed street racer, he beat you in his Mustang when you were in the car that he somehow became obsessed with. Afterwards, he becomes cop food.

1. John 'Soap' Mactavish- a God throuout the Mw series.
2. Sargent MacMillan from CoD 4- can a man really snipe like when he is bleeding out.
3. Yusuf from AC: R - the best assasin yet.
4. Captain Price- amazing in every way possible.

I might have other favorites, those are off the top of my head. I really am a huge Pikachu fan, though (I collect Pikachu toys and figures) and Godot is one of my favorite game characters ever (see icon). I'm currently replaying Okami so Amaterasu is on my mind, and Leon and Dante are some badass characters that have been some of my favorites for years.

1. Daxter (Jak series)- the best wisecracks ever
2. Wesley Gibson (Wanted:WOF)- dark monologue and a born killer
3. Dante (DMC series)- the most stylish and swaggerish demon hunter ever!
4. Itachi (Naruto series)- A true man of his country/village who sacrificed everything except his little brother
5. Solid Snake (Metal gear series) Single handedly the most amazing spy who can go through every single game without killing a soul

1. Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank Series) - I think I've played the first three R&C games more than all games I've played combined, so self-explanatory.

2. Wheatley (Portal 2) - While playing Portal 2, the first moment he appeared on the screen, I knew he'd be one of my favorite characters ever. Remember "This is the part where I kill you!" anyone?

3. Nathan Drake (Uncharted Series) - Charismatic, hilarious, courageous, and just plain awesome.

4. Link (the Legend of Zelda Series) - Not a giant Nintendo fan, but Zelda games have always been beyond awesome for me. Link is just one of those character's whose story is so epic you can replay it until oblivion.

5. Cole McGrath (inFamous Series) - The first inFamous was one of the best exclusives for PS3. I loved Cole's rough and total commando-esque psych. Then inFamous 2 came out, and blew me away. It far surpassed all my expectations and is now one of my favorite games. Cole's changes from the first to second games is the highlight of the whole game.

5. Achilles- ok im obsessed with ancient civilizations and wars. And Achilles was in warriors legends of troy so he counts! he is just bad ass.

1. Ezio Auditore- the same reason as you, plus AC is a wonderfully made game
2. Mario- The struggles he goes through to save a princess
3. Cuck from dead rising- he does anything in his power to protect his little girl
4. claptrap- c'mon, he's the funniest peice of scrap metal around!
5. michael jordan- he is on the cover of back to back 2k games and playing with him is smooth and easy
