Have you seen the user reviews for games? The people who gave 1s to games like uncharted, infamous and skyrim are complete haters. Even game magazines and websites are giving out hater reviews. 7.75 for SSX? What the crap Gameinformer! At least give it an 8.25!

As for the people who score on GameFly, they're just trollin. Obviously big blockbuster games aren't a 1, they're just mad at who knows what. Some of them are morons, lol.
As for the larger companies like IGN and GameInformer, sometimes they do get it wrong. But many times when they get it wrong, it's that particular reviewer that is uneducated rather than the whole team.
IGN gave Uncharted 3 a 10. Eventhough that game is pretty magical, it probably doesn't deserve a 10.
Personally, I don't like scores for games. Everybody defines the numbers differently, so you can't satisfy everybody. In my new Reviews that I produce, I score games as Buy, Rent, or Pass. This scoring process is obvious and very helpful.
But then again, Opinions are like armpits. Everybody has them, and they all stink :P

Of course the opposite can be true, the reviewers are actually legitimate and actually know some sense of gameplay, graphics, and story because it's their job to play hundreds of games which leaves you either uninformed, you don't know what you're talking about, or you're just a lemming that follows trends and has no independent thinking.
But...maybe you're smarter than them. Maybe for a second, in your limited knowledge of games, are just better than the game reviewers out there. You don't do this for a living, but who cares? Legitimacy doesn't matter and experience...well that's not an issue.
What does everyone else think?
