Does anyone know when the first DLC is going to come out for Mass Effect 3? and What it'll possibly contain?

I'm hoping in a way for them to bring a few new characters into the game but would it be to late in the fanchise to do that? I am however looking for more missions though. And is there gonna be a 4th Mass Effect or is the the end? Since the choice I made on my first play through, Shepard died to save everyone, but they talk about Sheapard and possible lead for another...

sometime in april no exact date as of yet and supposed to contain clearer ending and a possibility of new multiplayer maps and characters. yes this is supposed to be the end of shepards story but mass effect 4 has all but been announced but no details are know at this time.

One just came out, it is called the "resurgence pack" its for multiplayer. It contains two new maps, three new weapons and six new characters. Also it is free to download.
