Is Reach better then ODST?

Both games are based within the halo universe and each game has its own upsides and downsides...personally i enjoyed odst more than reach but i say get both! there fantastic games

yes just because odst is only campain reach is an amazing campain plus a great multiplayer

In my opinion reach has the best campaign of any of the halo games.

ODST is more of an expansion pack than an actual full game. Halo Reach is a full game.
So, which one is better? Depends on your tastes. I personally am not a big fan of the Halo Reach gameplay style (too complicated for my tastes), but lots of people like Halo Reach.
Before you can tell which one is better, understand that ODST only includes a new campaign and firefight mode. Compared to Halo Reach which has a new campaign, new modes, and a new multiplayer experience, you'd probably enjoy Reach more. I just personally enjoy the Halo 3 type of gameplay more :P

I play real conservative, so I'm more of an ODST fan. Plus you can kind of go at your own pace instead being funneled into a singular story.
Reach...was cool. I enjoyed it, but ODST had far more story probably because you played so may people during the campaign.
