Mass effect got me started on this series , however the only drawback is I wish there were MORE choices in who he likes , what he does with himself and crew etc is mass 3 even better?

I'd hate to be the spoiler, and though you do get to see different movies for aiming for a more perfect ending...the over-all of the plot isn't effected. Ultimately this is just a linear shooter with options in dialogue.

There's just as much, if not more choices in the dialogue. Unfortunately the ending doesn't really change depending on your choices, at least from what I've heard (only 10 hours into the game).

Mass effect 3 has many choices you can pick from, who he starts a romance with ( some carry over from other games) and moral decisions as well. But fair warning, the ending leads you to expect a little more and some people have gotten really really upset by some..
