I have played all 3 and i like the third the best they tried alot of new things and for the most part the work not to mention its alot more stable then 2 that was buggy as all heck. i do miss some of the stores they took out and its was shorter that i had hoped but the story was the best to date and the graphics were much better than 2 with all the dlc they have planned ill be playing this for awhile and cant wait for sr4 thats currently under early production. i give it a 9 i rented it and my friend game me his online pass code and bought his own so we could coop. it has it flaws but its a ton of fun.

i don't own the 3rd but i have played it with a friend who owns it and i think its the vest of the series so POOP TO YOU!!!!!!

sequels r never as good as the original. but even so, i enjoyed the third installment. they found a way to go beyond most boundaries. limited alot of other things tho. bought it. beat it (4 times now) still love it

Well I have played 1st and 3rd. And let me just say it was a big step-up. In the first you could not ride on motorcycles if I'm correct the guns were a bit crude compared to the third.

The character creation had changed as well. In the third your character had his own personality style and other things. In the first it was fun but my character never talked.

The graphics were also a improvement. The city the 3rd game was allot more beautiful more big, and maybe it was just me but I felt like I was in the future like 2000 years later.

But basically I don't think that Saints Row the third was a disappointment.
