SBox Recommends #3: Naughty Bear
Back in 2010, 1 of the my most hyped games from E3 was Naughty Bear for it's hilarious presentation. You can imagine my dissapointment when it got negative reviews. 1 year later I subscribe to GameFly, and to feed my curiosity I rented the game. My reaction was shocking!
Naughty Bear (360, PS3) is a hack-and-slash adventure game. The basic premise is that a disheveled Teddy Ruxpin is bullied to the point of insanity and seeks revenge on his plushy neighbors. So you basically complete missions that involve killing bears. Despite what everyone else says about the game, the controlls worked well, they had a some variety in the gameplay, and it doesn't get dull due to comedy. The only downsides I found were that the framerate at times was off.
Naughty Bear is probably the most underrated game I've seen. Despite the constant negativity the game recieved, I'm glad I played it. The game's not for everyone though, so rent it and decide whether you like it or not. If you like it, the game is only $12.
