If you follow the main story missions, you'll eventually end up in a field (fairly early in the game) where you'll need to kill a certain number of them with your car. (The boars also hang out here in groups even after the mission I'm referring to).
It's very early in the story, before you acquire the chicks with ranged weapons made out of said boar carcasses.
