buy owning the game, the maps are on the disc. I don't follow halo much so IDK if there are expansion map packs for it, but you can buy the maps from anniversary and plug them into halo reach, which is a downloadable through XBLM.

you can go to xbox live marketplace then search halo reach then select it go to extras then it will show map packs you can also search it on bing from your xbox. i hope this works :)

You can go to the map select, for example, when you're starting a custom game, It'll ask you which map you want. The one's with stars by them are the DLC. Select that, and it will bring you to the Xbox Live market place where you can choose to purchase maps. If you are looking for forged (customized) maps, you can simply search online for some, or make your own.
