Wii Sports! 5 good sports done right. Oh, and the sequel is better.

In all seriousness though, I'm not too into sports titles like Madden and NBA Jam. So Wii Sports is the closest I have to a sports game I really enjoy.

I had a tremendous amount of fun with NBA Jam, personally. I'm not into sports games, but remembered that game from back in 1993 when I first played it on Sega Genesis. They updated it and made the challenges fun and entertaining enough to keep me playing and replaying it for ps3.

I only play games by myself though, and I think the majority of sports games are best when played with other people. But at least NBA Jam was fun to play alone. I'm glad they kept big-head mode, it makes it even more fun, somehow!

I like sports but not sports games.. I personally LOVE wrestling though and own every game in the franchise.. So if I had to pick, I really enjoyed the tweaks made in WWE'12 and would have to go with that. With the exception of the online problems it still faces..

The answer is all and none.

Sports games are annualized franchises meaning there is little thought put into them outside of minor tweaks here and there. Unfortunately that means unless you are into a particular sport they are meh titles.

But if I had to pick a sports theme I would go with racing and Dirt 3 or Motorstorm Apocolypse. At least they manage to be entertaining games first and sports 2nd. Plus they aren't annualized because they are made up.

I would say one of the MLB The Show games or Madden 11 or 12.
