I love mass effect 2 for the story line! I also loved that you got to pick what happened. Thats what made the game interesting for me. I love romance so make sure their is romance and lots of it. Or a game exactly like mass effect 2. thx!

There are no games like mass effect or mass effect 2. You can try Star wars Knights of the old republic 1 and 2. Theres Jade empire for the xbox, alpha protocol, and the Dragon Age games. All of these games are older but they use the play how you want to system, and there are quite a few romances.

In addition to the ones mentioned I would add Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2. I haven't played the second one but they are both basically the same and they both have romance options. The first one is kinda old but if you don't mind the graphics it is a good game. An even older game is the Baldur's Gate series which is considered to be one of the best RPGs ever made. It relies heavily on story and converstions and has a few romance options that have multiple endings.

Well, the only types of games like that that I know of are games from Bioware. Games like Mass Effect or Dragon Age and maybe like TG77 said "The Witcher series". Or you could explore older systems for games like that.
