What are your thoughts about Oblivion and Skyrim?

This isnt meant to be a fanboy question. I just want to know how the rest of you feel about these two great games. What do you feel was better? If you didn't ike it, what did you feel was worse and what they could have done better. I also need an explanation of why.

I feel that Skyrim was a great way to follow up from Oblivion. With the breathtaking scenerys amazing fights, that RPG feeling and the way you just can't stop playing it. I mean really how many of you can say that you did not enjoy this game?............Thats what I thought.

Well... Oblivion was really good, but it wasn't a captivating game you know? It had lots of great potential and good gameplay, just not enough length and awesome story like skyrim. Or challenge. Skyrim is amazing with amazing story and fighting, incredible length, and no matter how good I think I am, I still fight bandits that are insanely hard, and discovered a new dragon "Elder Dragons" that are way harder than normal ones.

  1. I couldn't get into Oblivion. Probably because I didn't really like the game engine they were using (Gamebryo), Fallout 3 kind of helped me out and now I think Skyrim is amazing. I might go back and play Oblivion, but not too sure if I have the time.

    1. Oblivion was lacking great structure. The game just didn't have that much substance and limited character creation options. Skyrim lacked realistic fighting. Like when you hit somebody they spin around like a damn ragdoll! Skyrim beats Oblivion in every way, but it did have one little flaw.

        1. I never played oblivion because its not my type of game.Then, I kept hearing about skyrim so I had to check into it and I am glad I did.I will try oblivion as soon as I finish skyrim. If it is nearly as good I will be happy as hell.

          1. Oblivion is a game that I would like to rent some time. I heard it was pretty good. Skyrim is a game I hope to get for Christmas. They're both games I intend on playing though.
