i bought a 3ds for daughter for christmas and sega all stars racing i heard some ds games dont play on 3ds systems even though this box says plays all ds games (idk new model maybe) but does anyone know if im going to have a problem with games not playing. i know they wont play in 3d but if they play regular thats fine.

The 3DS is compatible with any original DS game, so it should run just fine. The only games that wouldn't work with it are games that require some kind of peripheral to plug into the GameBoy Advance port that was on older models of DS (for example, the DS version of Guitar Hero).

The Nintendo 3DS is only incompatible with DS software that requires the use of the GBA port whatever the hell that means. So yes, you should not have a problem with S&S All-Stars Racing.
