Yes, Ridge Racer for Nintendo 3ds is a good game, i hope they come out with Nfs for 3ds soon lol. But if your still not sure then check some reviews, and then see what you think.

Ridge Racer is your best bet for now, although Mario Kart coming out is a ton of fun. Not a strictly racing game obviously, but I've had a lot more fun racing in Mario Kart than I did with Ridge Racer. Asphault 3D may be worth checking out if you're desperate but it's not very good.
