im wondering if the game sniper elite will work on my ps3. it says the game is made for ps2 but im wondering if it is compatible.

All PS2 games will work on the old PS3s but I don't believe the ones on the shelves today have the backwards compatibility. Not sure though because I have the 2006 PS3 and I can play PS2 games on it.

You can download the software compatibility from the Playstation Store. The old 20-60gb systems had hardware capibility, which means that it could play all PS2 games, it was basically a PS2 and PS3 commbined in one. The old 80 and 160gb ones had software capibility, which means that it could only play certain games that are supported. It can play most games which, after looking around, seems to include Sniper Elte. So just download the software thing from the store (I forget exactly where it but you should find it).
