BETA - Unlimited PC Play fails to launch Prince of Persia

After downloading and installing Prince of Persia in the GameFly beta, it refuses to launch the game. Running it from a desktop icon starts a Prince of Persia splash screen with settings and a Play Game option that takes me to a blank screen with a Windows 7 dialog box: this application has stopped working. I've reinstalled the game and turned off Norton protection--no improvement. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

You have to keep in mind that it is a BETA. Beta doesn't mean fully operational final build. Just keep trying. I had that same problem with AC Brotherhood and it finally worked after the 10th or so try.

Well that's why gamefly is testing it out. Saddly that's us so we gotta deal with it. I have faith that it will be fixed.

Well first of all it is a beta so it could be that the Gamefly service isn't working properly but it could also be the actual game itself. When I downloaded Saints Row 2 it would always crash when I clicked new game. I looked around online and found out that it was my PS3 controller that was doing it. I had my emulator for the PS3 configuration when the game is supposed to be played with a 360 configuration. I changed it to 360 and it works fine now. Google your problem and you might find a solution.
