Does anyone know what age group this is for or if its good for new users?

The DS version is rated E for Everyone. This is basically targeted towards anybody, but in this case younger kids. I'm sure it's perfect for your 7 year old.

If you are asking specifically if Gamefly is suitable for your 7 year old then I would say, it depends on the 7 year old. Most games for the DS are rated E but there are a few games aimed towards adults that are more like dungeon crawls. The GameQ makes it easy to select games to be sent, but you may need to sit with them when they are navigating the site to make sure they don't accidentally rent a game that is not for the DS. DS games are mainly in the E
zone and is very child friendly. it is very easy to wrap ur head around(not literally) but the answer to ur question would be yes.- 0
