Being that I found this on the Arkham Asylum questions that is what I'm answering too but Arkham City is vary simaler so its kind of for both. I experenced puzzle solving, fighting (probably the best ever) and stealth in my time at the Asylum and it was great. The stealth never felt like your out matched and thats why your sneaking around, it was more how a lion hunts his prey. The combat was the smoothest ever in video game history. And the puzzle solving never stumped me but wasn't overly easy. Great great games but I consider the first to be perfect while the second had its tiny flaws.

Yes, Batman: Arkham City does include many Game genre's. Not all are found in the actual story game; Including the Riddler challenges, the Prey and Campaigns for each character. The Game itself is a mix of several genres at the same time. The street Brawls, side missions, Riddler Puzzles, Boss Fights, Riddler informant preying cover pretty much all of the genres used by popular games (except FPS, lol)
