Yes if you want to play the campaign. If you want Multiplayer it might not be, since you'd have to pay extra for the online pass.

MW3 doesn't need an online pass, so it is worth renting for the online features. The campaign sucks.

Any game is worth renting. Having a gameflly membership allows you to play all games. CoDs have great campaigns so count on having fun there, then you can pop online and have fun there. More than likely, it being a good game and all, you'll love it.
