I was just about to start the countdown for skyrim....Lets see my favorite RPG?

I would have to go with Xenogears. Out of all the RPGs I have played (and I have played alot) Never have I found a more interesting story, and great gameplay.

The way Square put that together was amazing it had 2 different gameplay styles a martial arts like gameplay style, and a mech gameplay style. The combo system they used was genius it was like playing a turn based fighting game.

The characters were well done and interesting(A kung fu monk, A martial arts master who was also a secret sword master, and my favorite a gunslinger named billy just to name a few.) unlike many of the RPG characters you see today. I could go on about how great Xenogears was all day.

Probably Baldur's Gate II (PC version, not the console hack and slash games). The game is so deep and varied it consumed much of my time in High School.

I would definitely say FF VII for ps1. It has the worst graphics ever and Cloud Strife looks like a lego, but I do not care. That game is the game that revolutionized RPGs. Nuff said.

I'd have to say Fable because that's the only RPG that I'v played, but since I'm getting elder scrolls 5 idk

So far oblivion but im sure skrim is gonna be even better! im SO EXITED! que 70's disco music! i hate it! alright then lets play some grama got ran over by a rain deer! im so festive right now! For swords and sorcery I'm sure Skyrims going to be my new favorite but at the moment its still Oblivion. For shooter RPGs it would be Fallout New Vegas, very underrated game. With five times the content that F3 had I couldn't believe all the reviews saying it felt like an expansion. Just an all around amazing RPG and pretty much takes the cake for me. As for linear affairs I'd say Demons Souls.
