You will not get the code as they are on the manuel you need to purchase the game in order to get the code and if you buy a used game thru a retail store there is no telling if it was used untill you try it for its a one time use code you are supposed to be able to get a code from rockband website but i have been unable to get a code thru numerous emails without a response all i can say good luck.
