About every three seconds or so, it skips or lags as you walk around. It can also send you falling through the ground. I say that this game sucks compared to its predicessor (Fallout 3). Bottom line.. Rent fallout 3. Blow up fallout new vegas with a stick of dynamite.

Although I won't say your opinion isn't valid I have to wonder if your system was an anomaly or something.
I played through all of fallout new vegas on PS3 when it came out and yes I did see some glitches and I couldn't go into the strip without a cowboy hat on (still makes me laugh) but it was far from unplayable.
I don't like games that are released before they are ready in general. But fallout new vegas is the superior game. There is more to do, more to interact with and the whole DC underground system in fallout 3 was just plain boring and uninspired.
Play new vegas if you are going to play a fallout game. yes its not perfect but I think you are going a bit over board with how glitchy it is.

dude fallout is amazing game probally one of my favorites. but it lags so much, people call it new bug vegas.

I have to agree. I enjoyed Fallout 3 put in so many hours into it prior to the release of New Vegas, and it was just a copy and paste. Some of the glitches were game breaking for me. But restarting your console usually fixes that. The biggest issue is, even when downloading the game to your hard drive. The loading times some times could take up to 2-3 minutes, and it was a small area to load.
