Actually yes. You can get a network pass without buying it from the playstation store.
Here's how to do it:
Buy the game at a local retailer (Gamestop, Target, WalMart, Best Buy...pretty much any place that sells video games). Then you get the pass for free.

Oh thats easy all you have to do is buy the game from walmart, gamestop, or any other retailer. That is how you get the online pass without using ps store.
