how to get multaple kirbys in kirby mass attack

im on the first level and i have tried to get multaple kirbys but i cant seem to figure out how so if you could help i would greatly appreciate it

You have to free other kirbys from hidden cages throughout the levels to get more kirbies. Hope this helped!
