i dont understand why the rating is higher for 360 than ps3 for dead island. i thought they were exactly the same gameplay just slightly crisper color and graphics on 360? what gives?

difference in opinion. Maybe more people voted who played the 360 version. Not everybody owns both consoles, and even then it doesn't necessarily mean that people who do would have played both versions of the game!

Better crisper graphics and better online play maybe, I haven't played ps3 Version yet, I never play online games on ps3, only on my Xbox cause Xbox live is better than the playstation hacknetwork... Just a fact,coming from someone who has both systems... Great game though!!
