Here is a guide for probably most gamers trying to get Dead Island:
Step one: Direct yourself to the nearest video game rental store and walk there.
Step two: Make a failed attempt to buy Dead Island.
Step three: Get one's mother to drive you to nearest game retail store.
Step four: Argue with one's mother as much as possible explaining to her that the game isn't that bad until she finally gives up and becomes a "good" mother and lets you get the game. Did that help?

I sent my back should be at gf in orlando by the 29th. i play games then return then so the most ppl can get a chance to play them i rarely keep games more than a week.i have fun so i want others to have the chance also shipped gears 3 back as well. good luck getting dead island and i hope you have friends to play it with its alot of fun.

If you have it in your que, there is no telling how long it is going to take. At this point some people have been waiting weeks, but there are not enough copies and enough people sending it back to get the game quickly out. You may have to resort as others have said, to buying or renting. The price has actually already gone down 10 bucks if you are wanting to buy. It is also in stock to rent. If you are strapped for cash and have to go through Gamefly, then you are just gonna have to be patient.

buy it at your local video game store although i rented it from gamefly and imah gona keep that son of a bich!
