No I am not pumped up at all for the game.

I have it pre ordered and right now I am planing on buying it day one to do some co op, but I really don't know which direction they will take it. I want it to be more survival horror then action style.

Plus it being the first game in what hopefully will be a new series means its more of a proof of concept. Right now a good demo would go a long way to give me a better feeling about this game, as it stands now I need to see reviews to find out things like how long it is, if co op works well, style of game, the feel of the weapons and in general how fun it will be.

I am hopeful but I don't wanna be disappointed again, like I was with hunted demons forge.

I am somewhat pumped for it, why? Because I have yet to get my hands on it and actually put some hours into it. Once I do I will have a more detailed answer for this question. But from what I've seen, I like the RPG element of it and I like the new setting for it, this game seems like it will be introducing us to a new setting for zombie survival.
