i preordered bf3 off of origins.com for xbox do i get the beta or is that for pc only help me please

Why would they give you a beta for the PC version if you're preordering the xbox version? Can you even pre-order games for non-PC consoles for that matter? And if so, why did you pre-order it on the xbox if you want to play the beta, clearly your computer can handle it so why not play it there? And IS this butter?
