i'm guessing some of you guys already know that rage isn't an RPG. it doesn't really bother me but it does from down the excite factor for the game itself, what are your thoughts on it?

Yeah, it has a few RPG elements like a mission structure with a ton of optional quests. Also, you'll be able to customize weapons, ammo and your vehicle.

It's a first-person shooter, open world, racing game with a few RPG elements. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
