I am not talking about 100% completion or anything, but how long does it take to do the main story and most of the side missions? It seems like a much much longer game than Fallout 3. How much longer are we talking?

it took me a couple of days but i wasn't trying to race through the game, if you hurried the game then i would guess a day but it would mean like only b.r. breaks and food breaks with no sleep, it's a very in depth game so you may want to hold on to it for a couple of weeks,personally i still want to buy the goty version(30 bucks at gamestop)

Probably about 50 hours to race through the story and maybe a little of the side stuff, but if you want to see all of the guild quests (to get all the achievements), you're looking at over 100 hours. Plus after that there are other one-off side quests that are worth doing just for fun too, and if you're getting the GOTY edition I think Shivering Isles comes with that which is probably another 20 hours of gameplay to get through the story for that.

I don't remember how many hours I spent, but it was multiple months of playing just about every day...and I didn't actually end up beating it. I got tired of it before I reached the end.

It took me about 100 hours, but that includes all of the side quests and a great deal of just wandering around doing random things.

It took about a week or two for me and I played like 2 hours a day maximum, it does though depend if you do side missions too or just stick too the story...

Just to go through the story is about 15 hours, but it's impossible to do that cause who the %$&! would play this game without doin side quests? Best "side quests game" ever imo
