i think they should do one on the hardships of the Civil War, it may cause too much chaos though. Personly I think it would be a cool game, I haven't seen a Civil War game yet, so if Cod did it, I have the confidence that they would do it right.

WWII is so played out and beaten to death in games that it really isn't someplace most gamers want to go back to. I think it would have to go the way of resistance to be interesting. Give me a WWII setting but the guns and story have nothing to do with WWII.

Considering all the money the modern games are making, you are going to have a hard sell to a publisher to make another WWII game anytime soon.

the only problem with them doing civil war or revolutionary war, is that the reload time was ridiculous. We would spend half the time running around waiting for our gun to reload... It would be better to run around with a knife... lol....

I want a gritty and realistic Vietnam war game. Black Ops was a hot steaming mess of a plot and is not what I'm not talking about. I don't think what I want is something Activision would ever think of doing, but I want the game equivalent of Platoon; dark, gritty, realistic and has something to say.

They should stop making any games for a couple years so they can come up with new mechanics and refresh the series. I love COD but these past years its been a COD explosion and they need to come up with new things to add.
