Who else can not wait for this game? I have a feeling it will surpass the greatness of Demon's Souls.

I'm super excited. I've been following this since it was still called "Project Dark", and I already have the collector's edition of the game pre-ordered. Even better, the release date is my birthday! Words really cannot express how much I want this game, haha.
I loved Demon's Souls, beat it many times, and I also platinumed it. Problem is, once I finally did get 100% I kinda stopped playing it... but now that Dark Souls is on the way I'm hoping I can get that same kind of experience Demon's Souls gave me and have it be new all over again.
I'm not sure if it will surpass Demon's Souls, but I don't see any reason why it couldn't or shouldn't. The developers seem to be really onboard with want the fans want, so I've got pretty high hopes that this game won't disappoint in any way.

I could talk about Demon Souls all day and not get even remotely into what made that game soo good :).
The game has a lot to live up to after the sleeper hit first game. For me its the combat that stands out, its not the super best combat ever, but its the most realistic engaging I have seen for a game. Usually you just hit the X button or A button if your playing on 360 to win. This game makes you think about every swing and where you are in your environment.
The fact it is going more open world, having crazier monsters, more traps makes me super excited. This game and Skyrim, what a wonderful year to be a RPG fan :).
Even if it is better in every way I don't think it will surpass the greatness of the first game. It will more so confirm it. What made the first one so great is the fact nothing else like it existed and it was PS3 exclusive :).
I hope more then anything else there is meaningful DLC or expansions to this game to keep it going :).

Right here, i've been waiting for this game since I first heard of it. I am a big time Demons Souls fan, i'll admit when I first picked up the title last year I was not very much into it. But as I played it, and progressed through the game it grew on me and I was sold. This is one of the best RPG games of its time, Dark Souls I expect no less of it. I want it to be more difficult, and more punishing then Demons Souls.

Eh, I got tired of Demon's Souls. I own it and I've never beaten it. I prefer RPGs where you need to level up your characters to progress in the game. In Demon's Souls you can beat the whole game without bothering to level up if you're good enough at fighting.
