How is Rock Band Unplugged going to work on the PSP?

You just press buttons along to the music. There's no peripherals coming out for it.

Using the face buttons you just tab the buttons in time with the notes on the screen. If you ever played the early Harmonix games, Amplitude and Frequency, I'm guessing it will be kind of like those.

You will press the buttons as the notes come down the screen. I was hoping it would be like On Tour for the DS and use a periphial but it doesn't
