why does my wii system turn off when i play mario all star it doesn't 4 any other game

Because that game is so awesome there's no point to turn the system off.

It's likely because most other games are running natively on the Wii, whereas the Super Mario All-Stars game actually stops and boots a SNES emulator in order to play the game.
