L.A. Noire is for a select crowd. It is slightly akin to Grand Theft Auto, but has you solve mysteries and crimes instead of causing them. In my opinion, it is worth the rent. It is not as instantly gratifying as some other games, but you will end the game and you will not be disappointed. It is a very well made game. Happy gaming!

if your renting it from gamefly be aware that la.noire is a 3 disc game. you will only recieve one. however i found it to be a very good game. i bought it. but it is definatly worth the rent. pseudo explained the rest in his answer.
