When is the sequel coming out?

***SPOILER ALERT***
At the end of the game, Elika gives her life to rid the world of darkness and defeat Ahriman but then you bring her back to life leaving the world consumed in darkness. I was wondering when we would see what happens afterwards. I know the forgotten sands came out but it doesn't continue the story from this one.

As of now Ubisoft has released no word that there will be a sequel to the Prince of Persia 2008 game. The latest installment in the series was Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands in 2010. However, with the success of the latest games and funding from the movie, it is feasible for them to create a new Prince of Persia continuing the style and storyline of the 2008 game in the near future.
