Q: Which games should I get?

Which games should I get?

I'm caught between 3 Ps3 Titles this year. I'm looking into purchasing (and yes I am aware I have gamefly, These games are the ones i feel that i would more prefer to own and enjoy for as long as i can). Either Batman: Arkham City (Collectors Package $100), Twisted Metal ($60) or the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collections ($40).
Taking into consideration that Twisted Metal is the only multiplayer game, but that could be its biggest kill if it doesnt play well. and that Metal Gear is a remake of the originals (not a bad thing, i loved the originals) but has some beautiful eye candy. And that Arkham City is me following more of the Bats legacy , what can the gaming community recommend for me to purchase.
Please present your logic if you were in my situation, it helps the selection.

Well using logic Batman = Twisted Metal + Metal Gear, so you are basically doubling your content by opting out of Batman,

Or if your not strapped for cash you could go all 3 and just take batman down to the regular edition.

I hear you on twisted metal, it might be fun, but if there isn't a strong community or install base for a community it basically becomes dead weight.

I would buy batman regular and Metal Gear HD, check out twisted metal at another date after you know rather it has long term support. That would be the $100 safest purchase.

Me I am buying Deus EX, Dark Souls and Skyrim, all collector editions :). These are all day one purchases for me, but what I say is all 3 of those games will be around, so just buy them at your leisure according to your gaming mood and get all 3 :).

I would go with Batman. I think I would skip out on the Collector's Edition. I mean there isn't even a game case in the CE and there isn't anything all that great in it.. Unless there is a working batarang and I highly doubt that. Plus you can get Metal Gear HD also. I'm not sold on Twisted Metal because of the small amount of character and the I am slightly worried that its going to be like a shooter game like Call of Duty and have a 20 minute single player campaign and then all you have left in online play. I'll still try it however because I do love Twisted Metal games.

I'd recommend Twisted Metal, form the reviews it seems AMAZING. Metal Gear is awesome, I'll give you that, but from the looks of Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal will be 1,000 times better. (Definitely not batman in my opinion)

I would get the regular Arkham City, because Arkham Asylum was one of my favorite games ever. I will be getting it asap.

for 100 dollars you can buy the regular version of batman arkham and another used copy of a game you like at gamestop, but if it were my cash i would go with arkham you can't go wrong
