How do sims pets socialize without having to keep visiting the townsquare to play with dogs?

sims 2 pets on psp, i dont want to hear an answer like'getta dog' cause i dont want to.

You have to have it around another pet, the townsquare is the easiest place to go...

Although you don't want to hear it, get another pet at your house so they can socialise with eachother....
