Why do people think spirit tracks is the sequel to phantom hourglass?

Cuz i have something to say to you people. IT'S NOT! Spirit tracks is set 100 YEARS after the events of phantom hourglass. So it CAN'T be the sequel! phantom hourglass is the sequel to wind waker, but spirit tracks is NOT the sequel to phantom hourglass! So i guess people just asume that the zelda series is like others; you start with an original then it's sequel after sequel. the zelda series is not like that. PH is the only exeption. zelda series is many different links in different time lines. Using that gaming logic you can sort the facts from fiction. But the question states that one thing... that Spirit Tracks IS NOT the sequel to Phantom Hourglass!!!!! And you can be assured, that PH is the ONLY sequel in the zelda series, and that the rest of the zelda games are in COMPLETLY DIFFERENT TIMELINES!!!!!

  1. It only makes sense for people to think that. It has a toon Link and is on DS like Phantom Hourglass.

    1. Well there are scientists around the clock trying to figure out where that game fits in the timeline, I know its a sequel or prequel to atleast one zelda game, but yes its not been proven to be directly after phantom hour glass.

      It is the sequel to me of a zelda game that I never finished. Both the DS titles, I played them, liked them a bit, never finished either of them, either got bored of the game or the control scheme not sure which.

      1. People think that way because of the games release time-lines..true they are not of the same timeline in the zeldaverse and not really sequels.
