If i didnt want to see the moive could i just play the game and have a pretty good idea of the movie

For harry potter deathly hallows part 2. would i know how the movie was and what happened or would i have to seee the movie to understand all of it?

I haven't played this title, but what I can tell you from movie based adaptations of games that due to the short development cycle, the fact that these games are often being produced at the same time as the movie and that they often take several liberties based on assumption that the audience has seen the game already...

If you do get what the story was meant to be you won't get the impact of it, the small nuances with the story will surely be not addressed. For a franchise like Harry Potter where the whole thing really rides on the story, you probably won't walk away from the game with anything meaningful that you would if you saw the movie itself.

    1. First off no the gamae will never be like the movie enough to the point that it would give you a good idea. I personally avoided all the movies past part 2 because the movies destroyed the books. (It's indiana jones 4 all over again.) Anyway.. If yer not at all interested in the movie so much I can only guss that the game will stink. Movie adapted games are ususally (at least in my opinion) are just awful.

      1. no the game was horrible, the movie was about 70% close to the book, and the game is even worse.
