I miss horror games. I honestly am turned off to most current "horror" titles in today's gaming market because they rely too much on action and graphics as opposed to the unknown factor that made earlier games scary.
RE ORC just seems more like a tactical shooter with zombies going in the direction of left for dead. SHD looks like a bad B movie from the trailers that I have seen more so then a scary thriller that will grip me from the moment I start the game.
What I would fix in this category is put more mystery and less action and instead of having a system where you just use big guns to kill big monsters, make it so the person is actually vulnerable. I will give a nob to the SH game that came out on the Wii where you have no weapons at all, I think i'll play that when I get a Wiiu as I don't have a Wii.

I agree with Teppoudo, there are no real horror games anymore. I am holding my hopes out for Silent Hill: Downpour, though. I mean, I probably shouldn't as I have been disappointed in Silent Hill titles lately (and I am a HUGE Silent Hill fan), but this game does look kinda promising. I'm hoping it will be more like the classic Silent Hill games, and not so action-y like Homecoming was (we'll see). I'm also going to get the Silent Hill Collection for PS3, I already have Silent Hill 2 and 3 for PS2, but it will be fun trying to get all the trophies.

man im looking forward to a bioshock that takes place where the second one left off cuz i dont think bioshock is the kinda game that should be vibrant and full of color it should be dark and creepy, like dead space
