like 28 days later person wakes up doesn't know what happened bam zombies or resident evil where a evil corp makes a virus and it gets loose or like someone goes to party and there just happen to be zombies cuase of evil magic or science there is still no description

just wait and see until the game comes out. then your on the edge of your seat the whole time till the game comes out. thats what gets me into buying games. i know a little but not much. then im able to be shocked and not see things coming because i read it online...

I can understand if you're asking about the story to, say "Brink" (because it's pretty vague)...but the title "Dead Island" is pretty self explanatory and your question seems like it needs a "play the game and find out yourself" answer.
I mean come on. It's zombies on an island. Everything else is just details that don't need to be a factor in buying it.
