2012: Mass Effect 3 vs Bioshock Infinitie Game of the Year 2012

So, yes I know they are different games, but they can be compared in Production value, characters music ect. And being as I see these two games fo far from what we knwo of the year 2012. I feel its going to be be ME3 v Bioshock for GoTY 2012. Who do you think will win?

Ugh. That's like the Sophie's Choice of gaming. Those are both of my most anticipated games of 2012. ME3 is guaranteed to be solid, though I kind of feel like I know more what to expect from that game. Bioshock Infinite, however, feels like more of a wild card because of the complete change up of setting, and how that is going to change the gameplay. I'm probably slightly more excited for Bioshock Infinite, however, because it's likely to have more surprises, though I can't wait to see how my choices play out in ME3. I suppose I'll give a very slight edge to Bioshock Infinite, since it's more likely to innovate on it's concept, while what I've seen of ME3 is basically more of the same (not that I'm complaining, that means more of one of my favorite series of all time).

  1. WTF- The games haven't even been released yet. Kind of a dumb question. Bioshock does not even compare to Mass Effect. Any Mass Effect game blows any Bioshock right outta the water!

      1. well in my personal opinion bioshock , according to ign me3 ( mass effect has been the best game running the last 2 years) it's going to be heven for gamers when they come out ME3,BS.I,SKYRIM, MW3 AND BF3 the gamer community is going to get spoiled around that time .

          1. BioShock looks extremely... Awkward, in my opinion, Rapture was the true setting for BioShock, always will be. Moving it into the air seems like they're trying too hard to create a sequel where one shouldn't exist. Mass Effect 3 looks truly epic. In my opinion, Mass Effect 3 will win out, because of the massive scales of the battles and the open adventures characteristic of the Mass Effect series.
