If you check the Mortal Kombat page, it says it's sent with a 2-day online pass to play multiplayer... and as F.E.A.R. 3 requires an online pass, which can be bought for 800MS Points ($10) I was wondering if it will be shipped with a temporary pass-code?

Yes it is supposed to have a 2 day trial pass, just like MK and Batman will have this as well when it comes out later this year.
From everything I have read the Warner Bros online pass games will give you a 2 day free trial. It appears this will be common practice for all their games.

You can still play Online without the Online Pass.
The online pass just comes with new features, new modes, such as, F**king Run and Soul Survivor.
