Q: How come I only do good in FFA and not TDM or stuff like that?

How come I only do good in FFA and not TDM or stuff like that?

I can only get high kill-streaks in FFA.
Not only that, I never finish first on other game types,
however almost always on FFA.

Does this mean I will die in 7 days?

This is probably a rather rhetorical Q but whatever.

I currently don't play competitively but I will share with you what I do know.

FFA and TDM have two completely different mind sets and players move across the maps differently, this means your strategy has to drastically change. Being the one who gets the drop usually tends to win in high level play, but there are things you can do to up your game.

In FFA there are always hot zones. There are always the camping spots. And most importantly there are the run and gunners. I was a run and gunner and the way I approached this mode was observe where the most action was happening on the map and where the most likely camping spots were on said map at the time and I would rotate between the two. In FFA as soon as you shoot everyone knows where you are so get a kill and move on.

TDM its all about territory control. Each side will try to take eachother's ground. As a run and gunner I would move behind the enemy and flank. I would often not get kills in front just so I wouldn't be detected too soon.

from my perspective it looks like your greatt,team death match is different because you have to hesatate when you kill, i have that issue of switching from ffa to tdm all the time i play mw i can't see any issue with your style mabey they are using bots or mabey the other player on top is better?

You need to work on your strategy. TDM and FFA are about your ability to get kills. Most other games place a different objective as your number one priority, which generally requires more teamwork. You have to adjust your tactics, or start playing with friends who will cooperate with you.
