My copy of LA Noire has a small envelope in it with the words "Badge Pursuit Challenge" printed on the front, and inside is a series of film strips. Is this referenced somewhere in the game itself? I have no idea what to do with this. No spoilers please.

I assume you pre-ordered from GameStop, this was exclusive for gamestop. This "Badge Pursuit Challenge" are 20 badges to collect and find all across the city, Each badge will give additional XP.
If you collect them all, you'll unlock a suit.

Well, guessing that you pre-ordered it, cause this is the only way you get this, this challenge reqiures you to find 40 hidden police badges. When you complete this, you get a suit. I'm not going to tell you what the suit does, since you asked for no spoilers.

The film strips are supposed to be locations of the the strips in the game. But it is incredibly hard to figure out. Once you get all the badges you get a suit.
