Official game release dates are typically on Tuesdays, so that makes sense. Also, we don't know much about what that game will be like yet, but chances are EA is trying to get a jump ahead of the next COD release. COD games are traditionally released the 2nd Tuesday of November.

well I will answer a question with a question, why does this seem odd? I mean if anything Elder Scrolls 5's release date is a little more odd (11/11/11) but I think the answer is to get it out well before holiday season, before black friday and before thanksgiving. this will give plenty of people enough time to get it before christmas hits.

exactly. uncharted 3 is coming out that day to. they both seem like great games but i would prefer uncharted 3 unless you have an xbox 360.
