The PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 has the story board thing in the very beginning because they don't have Mass Effect 1 on the PS3. Is Mass Effect 3 going to have the same thing?

They'll have something very similar for those who have refused to play either of the previous two entries. But honestly, it should be considered mandatory for one to play Mass Effect 2 [at the least] before you play the third. You will have missed 2/3 of the total ME experience.

yes it will have a story so far part that will bring u up to speed in the start as well as a editor for first timers to set up there own personal playthrough but it is a shame since so much happens between the first 2 to just make radom choices without experienceing them first hand.
